fashionably late.

On this the last day of November, I'd like to post our killer Halloween get-up: Brad = ghost, I = witch, kid = skeleton. Brad was gone cruisin' on the Saturday of Halloween celebrations so I kept it low-key this year. Oh, and I never have time to do anything anymore. haha.
Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get to hear about our epic fail Halloween dinner or our Thanksgiving weekend sometime before Christmas arrives....

.thanks.giving.

Naturally, on a day dedicated to thanks, I have to give a shout-out to my AWESOME baby.

Aside from when I'm REALLY busy and trying to accomplish something (which happens for about ten minutes of every day), all I want to do is hold my baby forever.

At UVU's Best Dance Crew last week
This Thanksgiving, I'm grateful for the most fabulous ninja in the whole wide world and the knowledge I have that we'll be together forever.

I'm also grateful for this guy:

He's pretty awesome too and takes good care of me and the kid.
And the house. ;)

As a side note, I'd also *like* to be grateful for a magic wand or some fairies of some sort to magically pack the house up for me.
T-7 days until I don't have to worry about a spider biting my baby but I do have to worry about where I'll stick all my stuff!

Glitterati and Astroboy

Last weekend, our friends opened up a new store in Orem, Crafty Wood Cutouts. At first, I didn't think it would be up my alley, but boy was I wrong. All I can think about it what to do next. My favorite thing is that since they are unfinished, you can make them your own style or preference.
Check that - I think my favorite thing is that they don't take a lot of time to finish, so I don't have to add them to one of my piles of unfinished projects.
Check that - I think my favorite thing is that they sell this magic spray that you spray over glitter so it doesn't shed and turn everything you own into a glitterfest.

Regardless, here is my magical creation. I am so excited to sport this baby on my door come Black Friday. I've gotta bust my butt over there to get the turkey for this month.

I know. You're drooling at all the glittery goodness.

Seriously though, you should go get your own then show me pics of what you make. Because I also love seeing how people make their stuffs too.

And since no post is complete without a photo of the ninja, here's one that Brad iPhoned the other day:

When Brad facebooked it, someone said he looked like Astroboy.

hahahaha. ;)
