Last Monday, Brad called to let me know that we'd be moving from our apartment in New Hampshire to a hotel in Vermont (hello, Kardashian much?! Me and the K's are kicking it in our hotel living). And so the process of moving (again) began.
Conclusion: Having next to no stuff makes for a MUCH easier move.
The most recent move of our gypsy lifestyle reminded me of packing up at my parents' house (they just moved too)...

ReplyDeleteidk if I told you this but when I "moved" from DC to NY, I had 98 pounds worth of stuff. I know because I packed every single ounce into two suitcases and then have to have them weighed when I flew to Albany.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty sobering thing to put everything you own - this was literally every material possession I could get my hands on - on a scale and see it weigh less than 100 pounds.
the point is: I agree. Moving is a billion times easier when you don't have stuff.
also: I moved into a hotel in NY too! omg. best thing ever.
